Full Moon
Artist: Secreto Rebollo
Area: Tulum
Year: 2025
Full Moon is Secreto Rebollo's third mural in Tulum, painted on a three-arched wall built inside Artesana, the new development next to Holistika. The wall stands in the middle of the jungle, off any street, which is why it is not on the public map yet.
The figure hides her face behind a full moon held in her open hand, a Maya glyph drawn on the palm, a brush in the other hand. Bougainvillea petals float across the arches. The three moons — waxing, full, waning — turn the wall into a calendar rather than a portrait: the artist painting herself into a cycle of time.
The mural was built from a blue line drawing on raw stucco and finished over three weeks of April and May 2025, with the surrounding trees left untouched.
