Nahuala
Artist: Secreto Rebollo
Area: Tulum
Year: 2025
Nahuala by Secreto Rebollo presents a mysterious figure suspended between the human, the animal, and the spiritual. A single eye emerges from an owl-like face, wrapped in turquoise drapery and framed by moon phases, while a burning heart glows between the hands.
The mural feels intimate and symbolic, exploring transformation, inner vision, protection, and the hidden forces that live beneath the surface. In La Veleta, Nahuala reads like a guardian presence: quiet, watchful, and charged with ritual energy.
This mural was created on site, shaped by time, space, and process.
